MS ENT (Otorhinolaryngology) is a 3-year post-graduate course. This course involves the detailed study of ear, nose and throat disorders. This course is involved in medical and surgical therapy for the treatment of diseases, allergies, neoplasms, respiratory and upper alimentary systems, and disorders related to ears, nose, throat, jaws, face, and other head & neck systems.
ENT is an end speciality field that allows access to various kinds of surgeries - microscopic, endoscopic and open neck surgeries. Even skull base and advanced head and neck cancer surgeries. Therefore it allows one the option of choosing one sub-area later if required. Also, for many reasons, if one cannot perform surgeries then ENT allows a huge physician practice in the areas of Allergy, general ENT, vertigo, and sleep apnoea.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have obtained an MBBS Degree Pass in a college recognized by the MCI and Government of India and must be affiliated to any University established by the law in India and completed a rotatory internship on or before 30 April of the year of admission.
